User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to PC Ski Club (“the Club,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By registering as a member, participating in club activities, or making any payment to the Club, you (“the Member,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Please read these terms carefully before completing your membership or joining any club program.

2. Membership and Payments

2.1 Membership Fees
All payments made to PC Ski Club are membership fees that grant you access to club-organized skiing programs, events, and services.
These fees do not represent the purchase of any third-party ski resort pass (e.g., Ikon Pass, Epic Pass, or similar).

2.2 Non-Refundable Policy
All membership fees are non-refundable, regardless of schedule adjustments, weather conditions, or changes in personal circumstances.
Payment of membership fees constitutes acceptance of these terms and acknowledgment that participation is voluntary.

2.3 Payment Security
All transactions are processed securely through approved third-party payment providers. The Club does not store or have access to your financial account information.

3. Participation and Responsibilities

3.1 Safety and Conduct
Members must comply with all ski resort regulations, safety rules, and local laws during club activities.
The Club reserves the right to deny participation or terminate membership for conduct deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the Club’s values.

3.2 Assumption of Risk
By participating in skiing and related outdoor activities, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved, including injury or property damage.
You agree that PC Ski Club, its officers, and volunteers are not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries resulting from participation.

3.3 Weather and Operational Changes
All events are subject to weather, resort operations, and safety conditions. The Club reserves the right to adjust or cancel activities as needed.
Membership fees will not be refunded due to weather, resort closure, or travel disruptions.

4. Pass Usage and Third-Party Policies

As a benefit to active members, the Club may provide access to certain ski passes or coordinate group access to partner resorts (such as Ikon Pass or Epic Pass).
These passes are provided free of charge to members for convenience only — they are not sold or resold by PC Ski Club.

Use of any such passes is subject to the individual resort’s terms and policies.
The Club is not responsible for any pass suspension, invalidation, or loss of access resulting from violation of a resort’s rules or other third-party actions.

Members are solely responsible for following the pass issuer’s guidelines and for ensuring proper use of the pass.

5. Privacy and Communication

The Club collects personal information (such as your name, contact details, and membership preferences) solely for administrative, communication, and safety purposes.
All information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties without consent.

By joining PC Ski Club, you consent to receive communications related to events, scheduling, and club updates. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

6. Media and Publicity Consent

During club activities, photographs or videos may be taken for promotional or documentation purposes.
By participating, you grant PC Ski Club permission to use such media for marketing, educational, or social media content.
You may request in writing to opt out before or during an event.

7. Liability Waiver

By joining PC Ski Club, you agree to waive, release, and hold harmless the Club, its officers, and volunteers from any liability arising from participation in any skiing or outdoor activity, except where prohibited by law.

8. Amendments

PC Ski Club reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Updated versions will be published on the Club’s official website, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
